Asian Noodle Soup with Meatballs
Last weekend I was in a mood for pho, but I didn’t want to go out to the -10F weather just to get to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. So I decided to make something similar with what I had in my kitchen. Making a spice bag was a lot of fun. I just added a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but the soup turned out really tasty. I enjoyed it with homemade meatballs and mini bok choy.
soup: meat balls, onion, garlic, tomatoes, spice bag (black pepper corns, cinnamon, fennel seeds, whole cloves, coriander seeds, cardamom seeds), water, salt, pepper, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce
フォー風ヌードルスープ
先日アジア食料品店で大きな袋入りのアジアンヌードルを買ってきたので、
早速それを使ってヌードルスープを作ってみました。
たまたま手作りした肉団子もあったので、それも入れてみたかったし。
スープは何味にしようか、と考えたのですが、初めてフォーみたいなスープに挑戦。
いろいろなレシピを参考にしながらも自分で適当にたまたまうちにあった野菜とスパイス袋（自分で作ったよ）を入れて。
肉が何もなかったので、肉団子をダシとりに使いました（笑）。
いや～っ、フォーって複雑な味なので難しいと思ってましたが、かなり近いものが出来上がって自分でびっくり。
やっぱりこのいろいろスパイスが決め手のようです。
スパイス、今回私は、ブラックペッパーコーン、シナモン、フェネル、カルダモン、スターアニス、クローブ、コリアンダーなどなどを使いました。
