Homemade Ginger Ale with Rosemary

I made ginger compote (or ginger jam) for using something. Unexpectedly, I ended up with delicious ginger syrup as well. Of course I didn’t want to waste this syrup so I decided to make ginger ale with this. I added soda to the syrup and served with ginger compote slices and fresh rosemary from my herb garden. Terry and I loved the combination of the fresh smell of the rosemary and the spiciness of the ginger ale. I don’t think I can go back to the store-bought ginger ale after tasting this homemade one. It’s amazing you can really taste so much ginger in the soda and it’s absolutely delicious and so refreshing!

実はあるもののために、生姜の甘煮を作りました。
そうしたら、美味し～い生姜シロップが出来たので、それを使って、ジンジャーエールにすることに。
生姜シロップにソーダを足すだけ。
さらに、煮込んだ生姜の薄切りと庭で採れたローズマリーを入れて出来上がり。
ふわ～っと香るローズマリーと、ぴりっと利いた生姜味のソーダが、最高です！
風邪がまだ治らないテリーも、喉に効きそう、と、沢山飲んでくれました。

Looks great! Where is the Pin It button on your site, I don’t see it. I believe I should be able to click on an image and that should enable pinning to Pintrest. I must not see it.

Thank you, Kelly! I wasn’t sure until I actually tried it, but I absolutely loved the rosemary flavor in my homemade ginger ale.

We still haven’t figure out how to add the button on our site. But I keep a “pin it” button link at my bookmarks bar and use it to pin pictures. You can get this link from your pinterest page (About -> Pin It Button).
