Hawaiian Plantation Iced Tea with Ginger
The temperature went up unexpectedly quick last week. And I had to go through it without an AC in my car! It was supposed to be fixed a week before but the parts did not arrive in time so I had to wait until the weekend. I was sweating so bad driving back from work as my commute takes 45 minutes each way. When I got home I needed something that would cool me down quick, and this Hawaiian plantation iced tea definitely helped! The ginger gives a refreshing spiciness.

ジンジャーハワイアンアイスティー
ハワイアンアイスティーとか、プランテーションアイスティーと呼ばれるもの。
紅茶とパイナップルジュースを混ぜたものです。
私バージョンは、そこに、生姜をプラス～！
アイスティーはちょっと甘めに作りますが、そこにぴりっと生姜味が効いて美味しいです。
先週はここミネソタもぐっと暑くなりました。
しかも、壊れていた車のエアコンを直してもらうのを待っている時、というバッドタイミング。
窓を全開にして運転してましたが、家に帰ると背中が汗びっしょり。。。
そんな時にこのアイスティー、作りました。
エアコンを無事直してもらった途端、今週は急に涼しくなってきました～（苦笑）。
