Sesame Cookies

When a chef, who, with no passion for sweets, says she finds these cookies irresistible, I have to try them! The chef, Gabrielle Hamilton’s sesame cookie recipe was found in the House Beautiful magazine. I found some of the ingredients quite interesting: olive oil, cinnamon, and red wine… I too was not born with a sweet tooth, but I find these cookies very very tasty!

購読しているハウス・ビューティフル、という雑誌にのっていたレシピを使って。
甘いものを食べない、というシェフがコレはついつい食べてしまう、というクッキー。
コレは試さないわけにはいかないでしょう（笑）。
材料がまた面白いのです。
オリーブオイルや赤ワインが入っているのはちょっと変わってますよね～。
そして、シナモンもたっぷり入ってます（途中で足りなくなってレシピより少し少なめ）。
もともとはギリシャのクッキーだそうで、夕方にワインやらブランデーとともに楽しむようなクッキーだそうです。
このクッキー、後味に、ほんのりほんのり赤ワインの風味が残るのがいいんですよ～。
