Mapo Tofu Rice Bowl with Corn

Mapo tofu, or mabo tofu (this is how we say it in Japanese), is a Chinese dish made with tofu and ground meat (usually pork or beef or both) cooked in spicy chili and bean-based sauce. For our dinner I used corn in place of meat and served over white rice.
Mapo tofu: garlic, ginger, onion, edamame, corn, tofu green onion, soy sauce, tobanjan(hot bean sauce), sugar, sesame oil, sake, vegetable base, water, corn starch, salt

コーン麻婆豆腐

久々に麻婆豆腐の気分で作ってみました～。
肉の代わりに、コーンを使ったのですが、これがなかなか美味しかったです。
味をしっかりつけるこういう中華料理は、肉ナシで作りやすいかも。
ご飯と一緒に盛り付けてみましたが、ご飯がとってもすすみました。
この器、カレー皿として売ってましたが、こういう風に使ってもいいよね。
枠の水色とベルト風な手書きがお気に入り。
買ったばかりの器です。
