I was born and raised in Japan. I have a culinary degree from a college on the east coast. After working in a hotel kitchen for a few years, I went back to school. I now live and work in Minnesota. Although my current work has nothing to do with food, I continue to enjoy cooking for my family and friends. I like experimenting with different ethnic ingredients.

２０代半ばで渡米、アメリカ東部のカレッジにて料理学（Culinary Arts）を勉強。卒業後、フランス系ホテルのキッチンでの勤務経験あり。
現在は、料理とは全く関係のない分野で働いております。米国中西部で、アメリカ人の夫テリーと二人暮らし。
